SENIOR THESIS

My senior thesis is the culmination of two ideas: tattooing as a visual art and the intersection of LGBT+ culture and horror media. Done completely through Procreate (with final touches done in Adobe Photoshop), I stretched the bounds of how culture informs visuals, whether it be within the realm of body art or the subsequent cultures that surround that art. Motifs throughout both collections of work include vibrational color palettes,

visceral imagery, and playful hand-lettering and type treatments.
